New Pool and Spa Barrier Laws:

🔹 On 1 December 2019, new laws to improve swimming pool and spa safety came into effect in Victoria.
🔹 They introduced new registration, inspection, and certification requirements for property owners.
🔹 Owners are required to register their pool or spa with their local council and have their safety barrier inspected every four years.
🔹 Pools or spas with a depth of 30cm or more (300mm) must be surrounded by a safety barrier. This includes inflatable pools.
